NPP Dukovany – Adaptations at Second-stage Condensate Pumps Discharge

KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ RIA, a.s. executed adaptations at the second-stage condensate pumps discharge within the Dukovany nuclear power plant.

The Project dealt with preparation of the documentation for piping adaptations and reconstruction of the existing pump discharge lines by means of expansion elements installation and piping support modification. Reconstruction and adaptations, including other related works, were based on the piping node calculations.

The purpose of this Project was to enable easy in-service repairs of the facilities through heat expansion stress relief. Such stress results in high static load of piping connections and excessive piping and pump vibrations.
