KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ RIA, a.s., as a key member of the KP RIA – LAD association, participated in the construction and start-up of the new wastewater treatment plant within the thermal power plant Nikola Tesla B, the biggest TPP in Serbia.
Delivery and construction of the industrial WWTP dealt with treatment of oily waste water, coal water and water from flue gas desulphurisation (FGD).
Such waste waters contain various amounts of the solid, heavy and light particles, oil mixtures, fuel oil residues, and water with increased salt concentration. The waste waters are generated within the power plant premises – from the boiler house operation, liquid fuel system, machinery service, oils and lubricants storage, cooling water system, chemical water preparation, ash and slag deposits, coal transport system and workshops and garages.
The treated power plant waste water is discharged to the Sava river.
