WWTP Mikulov, Břeclavsko Project - Part B, 25 000 PE

KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ RIA, a.s. executed the reconstruction and intensification of the Mikulov WWTP within the "Břeclavsko Project – reconstruction and construction of the water service infrastructure within the Dyje river basin, part B".

The existing WWTP´s technology was out-of-date and unable to provide the waste water treatment as per required by legislation. During 2007 - 2009 it was completely reconstructed. The new mechanical pretreatment units were built, as well as the new pump stations, the circulating activated sludge tanks, final settling tanks, the tertiary treatment and sludge service with the sludge hygienisation. In 2010 the intensified WWTP was put into operation, fully meeting the applicable legislative requirements on effluent pollution concentration.
