CPP Ledvice - OB08 - Heat Extraction – Circulating Pumps

KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ RIA a.s. executed the "OB08 – HEAT EXTRACTION – CIRCULATING PUMPS REPLACEMENT" package within the "New boiler 660 MWe in Ledvice power plant" Project.  Since 1969 the Ledvice power plant was a thermal power plant of the ČEZ company with total capacity of 640 MW. In October 2009 the construction of the new block 660 MWe was commenced. This is the first supercritical and highly efficient power source both inland and in the Central Europe. The best available technologies were applied for construction of the new source. This source efficiency amounts to 42.5% and emissions are lower by 20% in comparison with standard coal-fired power plants.
